Age 69, of Camden. Died Friday, October 21, 2005, in Cooper Medical Center, Camden.

ADAMS, WILSON EPHRAIM – Born in Camden, NJ, he has been a life long area resident. He was the son of the late Everett and Emma Carter Adams. He was the husband of Elizabeth E. Brown Adams of Camden.

He was a retired YFC for the U.S. Coast Guard with 22 years of service. He also was Employed by the Camden PAB. Wilson was an active member of the American Legion Post #473. He was a former member of the masons King David Lodge in Camden. He was a one time recipient of the silver pen award with the Courier-Post. Wilson was a self made craftsman who just loved life, as well as fishing and flying kites.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons, Darrel R. Adams of Voorhees, Wilson E. Adams (Carol) of Camden, Michael J. Adams of Philadelphia, Matthew T. Adams of Camden, a daughter, Cynthia Adams-Brown of Camden, a brother, Matthew Adams of Riverton, three sisters, Doris Adams of Camden, Elsie Hall of Lawnside, Martha Carter of Camden, a brother-in law, John McElwee, a sister-in law, Bertha Williams, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Friday, October 28, 2005, at 10:00 AM in the KAIGHN AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH, Ninth St. and Kaighn Ave., Camden, NJ, Interment Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Cemetery, New Egypt. Friends may call at the church Friday after 8:30 AM. Arrangements STANLEY’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 822-24 Kaighn Ave., Camden, N.J.
